About
I'm Lucas Vitti. I've worked with data for about 16 years — from classic BI to advanced analytics — currently leading the Revenue Growth area at Sem Parar (Corpay). Trained in Applied Mathematics at USP, a two-year stint in gastronomy, and an MBA in business management.
At work, my day-to-day mixes growth strategy and revenue uplift, data modeling, experimentation, and the translation of numbers into decisions.
Why this site exists
I've worked with data since the very start of my career, but what has always actually moved me is the part that comes before the data: the curiosity. Why does this model work? Where does this property of mathematics come from? What's really going on when the curve starts behaving strangely?
Writing publicly is the way I've found to organize that curiosity — to put ideas in a place where they have to stand on their own, without the comfort of a face-to-face conversation. That forces me to actually understand what I'm thinking, instead of merely thinking that I do.

Off-hours
I cook with method (and pleasure). I learn things just for the joy of learning. I like tinkering with servers, automating small household nonsense, and growing projects with no clear goal just to see where they go — this very site is one of them.
To get in touch, the best path is LinkedIn.
